I believe what you wrote made a great deal of sense. But, consider this, what if you were to write a killer title?
I ain't suggesting your content is not solid, however what if you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Dhow trip to Kiwayu" is kinda plain. You might peek at Yahoo's front page and note how they create article titles to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to get readers interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it might make your website a little livelier.
